florence you genius

yes!! finally some new songs from florence and the machine aka genius ..well the first song is called what the water gave me and it is quite different to what weve used to..it is really massive and haunting ..florence seems to be going to a different direction with this album..her sound is modern and strong and the song itself stands out ..combine this sound with her mind-blowing  voivce and you get a hit song..

the second new song is called bedroom hymns(cant get enough). this song is also different from her first album...first of all the title is genius..the percussion are really great and massive..to me the song seems a little bit dark and haunting..and it is definitely perfect for concerts..the drums and florences voice is such a great combination for addicting and extraordinary songs..

those songs plus strangeness and charm which is already known are the new <<diamonds>>from their new album..so if those are the start whatis going to be next??check florence and the machine  now!!..to be continued ...

1983-2011

yesterday amy winehouse was found dead due to overdose in her flat in Camden..ok, i have to admit that i have never been a huge fun of winehouse but i always believed that her voice was remarkable and really special.. it was clear that her concert in serbia was the beginning of the end..she practically couldnt  even sing or stand still..despite those really bad moments no one could question  her voice and her albums was the proof  of that.. in 2003 her debut album frank was nominated for the Mercury prize and went on  to go triple platinum in the uk..in 2006 back to black was released and the success was huge..winehouse was famous all around the world..her album went 8 times platinum in the uk and double platinum in the us..it included big hits like rehab,you know im no good and love is a losing game.but she couldnt deal with her personal life and her addictions and that was obvious..it was also obvious that some day she wouldnt  be able to face her problems any longer..so here we are today one day after her death..she was 27..
